In Thailand the day you were born carries a colour, a planet, a Buddha image and a mantra. Most international sites ignore this completely. We start with it.
Why the day starts at sunrise
Thai tradition counts the day from dawn, not midnight. Someone born at 02:00 on a Monday is a Sunday child. We apply this automatically — most calculators do not.
Why Wednesday counts twice
Wednesday is split: born in daylight you belong to Mercury (พระพุธ, green); born after 18:00 you belong to Rahu (พระราหู, dark green) with a different Buddha and mantra.
